Crew: Gerry Connors and Rich Wuerth
June 21 to 29, 2001, Gerry and Rich arrived on June 21. Rich said Gerry slept for the next 24 hours. Then they hit the "to do list" which included replacing the stern shower, the freshwater washdown pump, and the sinks, washing off the Sahara Desert red dust, setting up the Bimini, plus a laundry list of minor chores and numerous breaks. Overwork was not their mission, though they did complain about it. There was time to take a side trip to the Roman ruins called Nakopoli. All of the above was broken up by at least two good meals a day, some of which included a ferry ride to Preveza from Preveza Marine in Actio.
June 29, Mike and Sheila arrived about 2:30pm. Sheila went promptly to bed for a long nap, while Mike policed up all the beer cans. The boys prepared the boat for the next day’s launching.
June 30, 9:30am: Migration was in the water heading for the mooring.
July 1, Sheila redefined the boat cleanup while the boys completed the commissioning.
