Crew: Gerry Connors and Rich Wuerth.
We had originally planned to have our neighbors, Steve and Ilene Silberstein and the former owners of our Tayana 55, John Don Carlos and Leila Jimenez. Unfortunately Steve & Ilene had to back out because Steve was selling his company and his attorney highly recommended he stay in town. The other crew never responded to our Emails nor showed up. Needless to say, Sheila was upset: "This boat is too big for the two of us to handle alone." Mike had felt neither Gerry nor Rich really wanted to leave us earlier in the cruise, so he called them. It was music to our ears when they both agreed to return for the final leg of the season.
September 15, Gerry arrived about 3:00pm. He invited us to join him the next day for a high-speed ferry ride to Athens. He had lined up some boats to see with a local broker.
September 16, Saw boats. Helped Warren and Judy, who we had met in Naxos, tie up.

September 18, Went through the Corinth Canal. Anchored off Loutraki to meet Rich.

September 25, To airport 11:30am for 12:50pm flight to Athens. Spent the night in the Athena Cipria Hotel overlooking the famous night-lit Acropolis.
